Einstein Named to “2025 Great Colleges to Work For” with Honor Roll Distinction
For the second year in a row, Albert Einstein College of Medicine is included in the annual list of Great Colleges to Work For by The Chronicle of Higher Education and ModernThink.
“Einstein has long been known for its exceptionally welcoming and collegial environment, so it’s wonderful to be recognized in this way” said Yaron Tomer, M.D., the Marilyn and Stanley M. Katz Dean at Einstein and chief academic officer at Montefiore Einstein. “The fact that this distinction reflects feedback from our faculty and staff obviously makes this more meaningful.”
The College of Medicine also earned Honor Roll designation, winning the recognition in five categories: job satisfaction and support; compensation and benefits; professional development; faculty experience; and inclusion, belonging, and community.
“We are pleased and proud to be recognized for our workplace,” said Yvonne Ramirez, vice president for human resources at Einstein. “This is an honor that belongs to all of us, and we look forward to continuing to support all our Einstein employees.”
The Great Colleges to Work For program, administered by ModernThink, has operated for 18 years. Its survey results, published in The Chronicle of Higher Education, are based on an institution questionnaire of employment data and workplace policies and practices, plus a survey on employees’ ratings of workplace practices and policies.
