A Night of Recognition as Faculty Rise to Senior Rank
Academic promotions mark an important and exciting career milestone in a faculty member’s career, recognizing years of dedication. The 2026 promotion party proudly honored 110 faculty members who were promoted to senior professor rank at Einstein in 2025. Colleagues and leaders from across Montefiore Einstein came together to acknowledge this significant achievement and to honor the contributions faculty members continue to make to the institution and the broader academic and clinical communities.

The event was hosted by Yaron Tomer, M.D., the Marilyn and Stanley M. Katz Dean at Einstein and chief academic officer at Montefiore Einstein and organized by the office of faculty affairs and strategic planning. The gathering served not only as a formal recognition of academic advancement, but also as a moment to reflect on the collective effort, mentorship, and institutional support that help faculty thrive and advance in their careers.
