Moving On from the Classroom to the Clinic
Each year, Einstein’s office of student activities coordinates the Introduction to Clerkships—PDC/WellMed Program—a rite of passage for rising third-year medical students marking the end of their formal classroom training and the start of their clinical clerkships. Formerly known as the “transition ceremony,” the event is a joint effort among the Patients, Doctors and Communities (PDC) Course, WellMed and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. This year’s program was held for the Class of 2018 on Sunday, June 5.
