When Losing Is Winning
After completing the initial session of Einstein’s Weight Watchers @Work (WW@W), participants in the program lost more than 300 pounds cumulatively over a 14-week period.
While Weight Watchers @Work participants learn about making healthy changes to their health, a series of helpful webinars is available to all members of the Einstein community
“We had a dedicated group of men and women,” said Carla Pasquali, a WW@W participant and director of the benefits office in human resources, which subsidized the initial cost of the program by 50 percent. “We’ve filled a second session and were again able to offer the subsidy to returning members who attended at least six meetings in the initial session. And we gave new members a 20 percent discount off the full rate.”
She added, “We wanted to make it convenient for members of the Einstein community to join Weight Watchers @Work, where they can benefit from having a trained leader guide and motivate them in making lasting, and meaningful changes to their health.”
While registration for the second session—which begins Wednesday, March 28—has closed, Weight Watchers is also offering a series of complimentary webinars that are accessible to all members of the Einstein community. Membership in Weight Watchers is not required.
If you’re unable to attend a webinar during the time offered but are interested in the subject matter, we recommend that you register anyway,” said Cheryl Mayo, Weight Watchers regional account manager. “You’ll be sent a recorded link after the event that you can view at your convenience.”
