Einstein Out in the World
For four decades, Einstein’s Global Health Fellowship program has supported students’ participation in clinical, public health, or research experiences around the world, with the aim of their gaining a deeper understanding of how economic and sociocultural factors influence the health of individuals and populations. The experiences abroad also allow medical students to learn about diseases that are unique or especially prevalent in other countries, while offering the opportunity to observe the organization and effectiveness of healthcare delivery and public health systems in other nations, and to learn about other cultures.

“We strive for our programs to follow a model of being ethical, sustainable, and collaborative,” said Jill Raufman, director of Einstein’s Medical Student Global Health Programs.
The exhibit along Einstein’s Main Street will be up throughout October. It offers a glimpse into the travels of these students and some of the experiences that leave an impression with them.
