Hop Aboard to Take Part in the Bronx Metro-North Station Area Study!
In the five-and-a-half years since the gathering by the railroad tracks, city planners and politicians have been working to bring the anticipated new train stops – in Morris Park and also in in Co-op City, Hunts Point, and Parkchester – to fruition. Toward that goal, on Wednesday, March 27, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m., members of the Einstein community are invited to the Lubin Dining Hall to take part in a public workshop/open house to help plan future Metro-North service in our neighborhood.
There’s a new train station coming to Morris Park. Come share your thoughts and feedback!
Those who attend will join city agencies and other Morris Park community members in an interactive, self-paced event where we can:
- learn about draft recommendations
- share your perspective and priorities
- guide investments and strategies
- learn what the new service will mean for jobs, health, housing, youth, and more.
Because the event is self- paced, you can come when you wish and stay as long as you are able during the three-hour meeting. If you have questions or need to indicate special needs, e-mail bmns@planning.nyc.gov, or call 718-220-8500.
