ICTR Exhibit Marks 10 Years of the Einstein-Montefiore CTSA
The Harold and Muriel Block Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) at Einstein and Montefiore is celebrating 10 years since the first funding of its Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) in 2008. Since then the ICTR has been funded continuously, most recently this past year. To celebrate the transformative partnership of Einstein and Montefiore, ICTR staff teamed with creative services to create a nine-panel exhibit representing the history, programs, services, and future vision for the institute. Following its East Campus display along Einstein’s “Main Street”—in the Forchheimer building—the exhibit will travel west in Spring 2019 to Montefiore’s Moses Campus.
“The CTSA is a tribute to our community, to our physicians, and to our scientists who are committed to improving health and healthcare in the Bronx.” said, Dr. Harry Shamoon, associate dean for clinical and translational research and ICTR director. “The ICTR has reinforced the longstanding bond between our two institutions, leveraging their strengths to further our joint research enterprise.”
