Einstein Marks Constitution Day with Screening of
In 2004, Congress passed a law designating September 17 as Constitution Day and Citizenship Day, commemorating the formation and signing of the Constitution of the United States on September 17, 1787. Under the law, each educational institution that receives Federal funds during the fiscal year is required to hold an educational program about the U.S. Constitution for its students.
This Thursday, September 19, beginning at noon, and replaying every two hours through 6 p.m., Einstein will offer free screenings of "RBG", the documentary about the life of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. There will be free popcorn for attendees, along with pocket-size copies of the Constitution. The screenings will take place in a special seating area adjacent to the Einstein Café, in Forchheimer.
