It’s Time to Lock In Your Benefits for 2020!
The Friday after Thanksgiving—November 29, this year—is famous for being a great shopping day. That includes making sure you’ve “shopped” for the best benefits for you and your family. With our November 29 deadline fast approaching, be sure to review benefit choices from this year, check out offerings for next year, and make any updates by this important date.
Flexible Spending Too
The November 29 deadline also applies to designating the amount you want to set aside via WageWorks for healthcare reimbursement, also known as the Flexible Spending Account (FSA). You must make your FSA elections each year; they do not carry over. Be sure to have social security numbers and birthdates on hand. To make 2020 benefit elections, visit Einstein’s enrollment website. For questions, call the benefits enrollment call center at 888.860.6166.
Update Personal Info
Now is also a good time to make sure your beneficiary designations are up-to-date and to verify personal information. (This includes your retirement plan beneficiaries, which can be viewed and updated at www.403b.com.)
To review your personal information or make changes, log onto Employee Self Service on the Luminus portal, located on Inside Einstein, Einstein’s Intranet. If you need assistance, email HRIS-Systems@einstein.yu.edu.
Don’t wait! If you miss the November 29 deadline, you will not be able to make changes until next year’s annual benefits election period.
