Make Sure You Are Counted! (It Takes Only Minutes)
Beginning March 12, people throughout the United States began receiving their 2020 U.S. Census form to complete. Everyone living in the United States as of April 1, 2020 needs to be counted, and your participation in the 2020 Census helps to assure an accurate count of our city and state population. It also directly affects government funding that Einstein and Montefiore receive (as well as New York City or your hometown, and New York State).
Taking part in the 2020 U.S. Census is easy. You can complete the form you receive in the mail and return it, or visit www.2020census.gov and enter the census code you received in the mail. It takes only minutes.
If you didn't receive a 2020 U.S. Census form in the mail and will be living in the United States as of April 1, 2020, you can still complete the online form by filling in each window, including that you don't have a census code. You will receive a confirmation when you complete the form.
If you have questions, the 2020 Census website is a good place to seek information. You also can watch this brief video or this longer one.
You have until early July to submit your form. So, make sure you're counted. It just makes good census!
