Seminar Series Highlights COVID-19 Research
With support from the dean’s office, the College of Medicine is hosting a COVID-19 Internal Seminar Series, presented on Thursdays at noon throughout the summer. The seminars can be accessed via Zoom, in the time slot usually allotted for the Internal Faculty Seminars.
These seminars offer insights into the various clinical and basic collaborative research activities that are currently underway at Einstein and Montefiore, which have resulted in large body of knowledge that continues to grow.
"The seminar series offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about all of the important and exciting COVID-19-related research underway at Einstein and Montefiore," noted Aviv Bergman, Ph.D., professor and chair of computational and systems biology and co-chair of the seminars.
This week's seminar features:
Felipe Diaz-Griffero, Ph.D., Professor, Microbiology & Immunology
"SARS-CoV-2 inhibitors: The Development of a Pandemic Pill"
Thursday July 30, at 12:00 PM Zoom
You can learn about forthcoming presentations in this seminar series by visiting Inside Einstein's online calendar. If you are conducting COVID-19-related research and would like the opportunity to share your work, please don't hesitate to contact the series co-chairs, Dr. Bergman or Art Skoultchi, Ph.D., professor and chair of cell biology.
