Einstein Celebrates Its Class of 2021
On Thursday, May 27, at 3 p.m., we will celebrate our graduating Class of 2021 at Einstein’s 63rd commencement ceremony. We invite you to join us in cheering on the Class of 2021 wherever you may be by livestreaming the ceremony through Facebook, YouTube, and our Commencement website.
You’ll also get to hear Dr. David A. Kessler, former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration and member of the Einstein faculty and Montefiore clinical staff, deliver the keynote address. Dr. Kessler is currently serving as chief science officer of the White House COVID-19 Response Team for the Biden administration.
In the meantime, anyone or any department wishing to show their support for our remarkable graduates as they embark on the next phase of their professional journeys can submit a heartfelt message to a specially desginated Dropbox. Following are the ways in which you can do so:
- Record a brief video message (MP4 file)
- Take a selfie of yourself or a group holding a congratulatory message (jpg file)
- Send a jpg or PDF file of a sign with your best wishes
During the virtual ceremony on Thursday, May 27, you'll also be able to share celebratory words in real-time via Facebook or YouTube comments. We hope you’ll join us in marking this important milestone for our graduates following a tremendously challenging year dominated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Editor’s Note: On May 25, 2021, a special Convocation was held for our Ph.D. graduates. You can view it on Facebook and YouTube.
