It’s Never Too Early to Begin Planning for Retirement
Whether you’re just starting your career, have been at Einstein for a while, or are approaching the latter years of your career, it’s important to plan for retirement. That’s why Einstein’s benefits office has partnered with Fidelity’s Learning Management System to provide you with a variety of learning opportunities to help you get the most out of your employee benefits toward meeting your financial goals.
“We started out by offering workshops of interest to those employees thinking about retirement in the near future,” said Carla Pasquali, director of benefits. “We knew that could be helpful to them and Fidelity has an array of offerings that address employees at different stages of their journey.”
“Learning the Basics of When and How to Claim Social Security” was the initial offering in November 2021, followed by “Prepare for the Reality of Health Care in Retirement” in January 2022. Carla noted, “Those who attended told us the information helped them better understand what they need to do to prepare themselves for retirement. Our future plans will be to offer workshops to reach those who are earlier in their careers as well.”
On Tuesday April 12, 2022, benefits invites members of the Einstein community to tune into “Maximize Social Security in Your Retirement Strategy”, which will be offered virtually at noon; registrants are sent a link to access the presentation once they register through www.netbenefits.com.
If you missed a previous workshop but are interested in the topic, that’s not a problem. The information is always available to Einstein employees through Fidelity’s Learning Catalog which can be found at www.netbenefits.com. You can attend a live web workshop, or do a self-paced, on- demand workshop while choosing from a variety of important topics, such as:
- Budgeting & Debt Management
- Health Care Planning
- Personal Finance
- Retirement Planning
- Savings & Investing
“There are topics to meet your needs wherever you are in your career trajectory,” said Carla. “We hope you will take advantage of these helpful learning opportunities.”
